It is a New Year, but some desires and challenges remains the same. Every New Year we hope for the better things in our life, but we forget to look at ourselves. Let’s be honest about a few things. Who does not want to have spotless skin, hair and fit body? Entering in a room and leaving everybody wondering how you manage to look so good. This can be easily accomplished; you just need to work on one thing: discipline!
Now, when the holidays are over, it is time for a complete detox. All those sweet dishes, alcohols and sleepless nights reflect on our body and face. Alcohol is a great deal to have a wonderful party night, but leaves us out of shape. Dries out the skin and it slows down the metabolism. Sugar, on the other hand, is highly addictive and it is pretty impossible to resist eating sweets. Too much sugar will cause overweight and skin impurities. January it’s the perfect month for changes. So relax, take a deep breath and start working on yourself.
Give yourself a time to do all the things you love. If you don’t want to exercise, go out for a walk. Replace the coffee with green or black tea. Both teas contain caffeine that will give you energy, but also antioxidants to restore your skin. If you are alcohol drinker, drink moderately and choose light alcohols with health benefits. Red wine is the best choice for this cold winter nights. Also, it keeps your heart by reducing the bad cholesterol. If you feel a strong desire for chocolate, choose to eat dark chocolate instead. And don’t forget to drink water, the more you can during the day. Your skin will be grateful and you will notice the difference the first week.
Another important factor is your daily skin care. It’s nice to makeup; everyone wants arranged and made-up women. But, going to bed with makeup and powder on your skin is absolutely unacceptable. There’s nothing worse than sleeping in makeup. You will wake up looking like a painting that’s been left out in a rainstorm. Using a moisturizer will take you two minutes but you will wake up fresh and beautiful. These are the few things you need to remember and start practicing every day.
